In half morocco, with marble boards. Contains a frontispiece, and all fifteen other ink illustrated plates. Collated complete. A charming history for ramblers who live or visit Norfolk, with Knights taking us across sites such as Wymondham Abbey, Hardley Cross and Caister Camp. In the process we gain a great understanding of how Norfolk has changed from Roman occupation and through the Anglo-Saxon and medieval periods. In half morocco. Externally, the odd minor marks to boards and faint fading mark to morocco. Slight rubbing to joints and edges, and minor bumping to head and tail of the spine, and to the extremities, a little heavier to bottom extremity of front board, with small rubbing mark to morocco. Offsetting to free end papers, and spotting to paste downs. Internally, firmly bound with very minor wear to the occasional hinge, marginally heavier between pp.137 and plate. Pages are generally bright and clean, with minor age toning and faint signs of offsetting to leaves adjoining plates. Very Good. book.
