Dyer, the Honorary Secretary of the Incorporated London Chamber of Mines, describes not only the principal means of reaching the Upper Yukon Country, but also "the resources, chief waterways, routes and distances around and throughout the far Northern Dominion, and more particularly of the Yukon-Mackenzie Country and the means of access to that region." Includes a wealth of information on the would-be prospectors, from dog-trains and reindeer transport to Klondike market prices in July 1897.
