Cover: grey card with black and red lettering to front; bright and clean for its age; age darkening to all edges and ink inscription to top outer front corner; few other visible signs of shelf wear. Internally: very clean and tightly staple bound; no markings inscriptions or book plates; very slight darkening to page edges but overall in very good condition. Illustrated throughout with black and white photographs plus 1 in colour. 44 pp.

Woodall coined the phrase autonumerology in 1964, the first edition of this work following five years later and seeing ten reprintings, the most recent being in 2000. In publisher's original paperback binding. With unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, suffering from a large chip to the bottom edge, extending to the front endpapers. Light marking and a small tide mark towards the spine tail. Dust wrapper in better condition, although featuring a number of marks and a few small closed tears, most notably to the head of the spine. Internally, generally firmly bound with binding fragile in places towards the centre, for example to pages 48-9, and particularly delicate to the beginning of the book up until page 17. Bright and clean with spotting predominantly to the first and last few pages. Fair. book.
