In den WarenkorbZustand: Very Good+. First edition. First edition, first printing. Signed by Jenny Saville on the front free endpaper and by Katherine Dunn on the first page of her essay in black ink, "For Steve, who endured it. From, Katherine Dunn." Bound in publisher's flesh toned paper covered boards stamped in black, illustrated with actua…l black and white and color photography. Very Good+ with light edge wear, rubbing and faint soiling to boards; contents crisp. A monograph printed in conjunction with a 2002 exhibition at Gagosian Gallery by the Young British Artist and fashion photographer Glen Luchford for their 1995-1996 collaborative photo series. Saville, known for her large-scale, viscerally Rubenesque paintings of the female body, worked with Luchford to create xeorx-like photographs that depict her body pressed against glass, deforming and distorting it to confront viewers with the raw, often violent, nature of flesh and beauty. With an essay by Geek Love author, Katherine Dunn, "Here we see Jenny Saville from the other side of the glass. The deceptive familiarity of this distortion is part of Seville's strategy. She commandeers the game and takes it is a long leap farther, too far for comfort.". Signed.
