Contains black and white illustrations. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages and binding are presentable with common faults. Text is legible throughout. Some issues present such as cracking, inscriptions, inserts, moderate foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Noticeable peeling and splits to leather elements and cloth boards. Gilt lettering is darkened. Visible wear marks to boards. Book has a slight forward lean.

Homeland Association, London, 1922; 160 x 210mm; green buckram titled gilt on the spine and black on the front cover; decorated end papers, frontispiece and 16 line drawings together withera few decorative sketches in the margins; pages uncut but opened. . . . . . The book honours the earliier work "The Roadmender" by "Michael Fairless" (a psuedonym) about the Sussex countryside in the area of the road from Horsham to Cowfold and on to Henfield.

Hardcover. Zustand: Good. The red boards are rubbed with some bumping and fraying to the edges, with discolouring to spine, Tanning to page edges and inside covers. The binding is firm. The pages are clean with tanning and appear crease free. This book has 337 pages. All in all a nice example of this book.
