With explanatory and critical notes from Dacier and others, to which is prefixed The Life of Plutarch, written by Mr. Dryden. Chipping and some loss to the spines, alongside splitting at the hinges.… Some edgewear and markings to the boards. Title labels of volumes 1 and 3 are missing, alongside partial loss to the labels of volumes 5 and 6. Ink inscription to the first free endpaper of volume 1, alongside ink stains to the edges of volumes 1 & 2. Some offsetting to the text. ESTC = T107384. 8vo.
