Interior is gently toned, with some marginalia in pencil. Condition is overall Good Plus, a working copy.** This is the classic work on Nat Turner's Rebellion, a revolt of slaves in Southampton County Virginia in 1831. The author, William Sidney Drewry (1870-1948), wrote this work as a Ph.D dissertation at Johns Hopkins University.
