The work is beautifully illustrated with etchings by Xavier Lesueur from compositions by Louis-Edouard Fourneir, a French painter.With an advertisement for 'Myrrha' by Jules Lemaitre. In the publisher's original paper covers with the original incorporated dust wrapper. Externally the front joint weak and covers age toned. The wrap is very smart with age toning, creasing to the spine and minimal edge wear. Internally, binding weak in places. Pages lightly age toned and generally clean with the odd spot, slightly heavier to the front and rear. Good. book.
