Schildwachter, along with a symbol of a cross. The second signature, located near the center of the page, is signed by Whittaker Chambers. Mr. Chambers was an American writer/ editor and former Communist spy who in 1948 testified about Communist espionage. No other handwriting noted in the book. Pages are lightly toned with some mild soiling along the edges. Signed by Other.
