First, the contents are reflective of 20 years of knowledge gained as a member of the nursing profession and from direct exposure to several levels of nursing education programs (LPN, RN, BSN, MSN) as a student and teacher. Second, opinions expressed within the book come from directly working in the field as a nursing supervisor, manager, educator, and professor in many settings. Third, contents were derived from knowledge gained during conversations while mentoring new nurses. Fourth and finally, many items within were provided based on the feedback received from previous nursing students, peers, and colleagues.
