Exterior shows scuffing and soiling along with edge and corner bumps/wear. The front board has some scrapes along with a couple child scribbling marks. Corner show heavy wear and the blue cloth at the rear hinge is split about 50% down from the top. The internal binding is good with no hinge issues inside. The front pastedown has some handwriting in the rear pastedown and end page shows a lot of pencil marks. Pages are toned due to age and there is some spotting and smudge marks present. Going through each page we found an orange smudge mark on the page where Jiminy Cricket is standing on the violin but the rest the pages only show minor spotting. The separate image of the whale is still present and attached book is graded as fair minus because of the tear on the exterior spine cloth and the scribbling in the back of the book. Unpaginated.
