Two vintage reference photographs from the US release of the 1973 Italian-French film, both showing actors Oliver Reed and Marcello Mastroianni. Mimeo snipe affixed to the verso of one photograph, and layout annotations on the versos of both. A man and his mistress go on vacation but their plans are cut short when they are kidnapped by bank robbers. As a result, their image floods the media and police and reporters follow them. 8 x 10 inches. Slight toning, else Near Fine.

Two vintage studio still photographs from the US release of the 1965 Italian/French/Spanish film, here under the alternate release title "Weekend Wives." With provenance stamps on the versos of each. Enrico Maria Salerno stars as Enrico Marletti, who spends a chaotic and terribly unpleasant weekend with his wife at the seaside, and only wishes to return to quiet of his home in Rome. Shot on location in Marche, Emilia-Romagna, and Rome. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus, one with a chip at the bottom left corner (see image).

Based on the 1966 novel "Un'anima persa" by Giovanni Arpino. An amateur painter discovers that his aunt and uncle's run-down mansion is home to a number of strange and macabre secrets. Risi's second adaptation of Arpino's novel, following "Profumo di donna" in 1974. Set and shot on location in Venice. 9 x 7 inches. Near Fine.
