Rebacked spine has been done professionally but using a rather heavy buckram underneath the original cloth spine panel. Two lengths of cloth tape carefully applied in the gutters of the front and rear endpages. Contents VG+ in a resored binding that preserves most of the original case. Overall G++.

Gee to front pastedown, illustrated with an engraved frontis. and three plates, a little marginal toning to pages otherwise bright and sharp. A very good copy of a scarce work on hunting dogs. Housed in a tailor made felt lined folding case. From the library of Ernest R. Gee, possibly the most notable mid 20th century dealer in sporting books, dealing with the time honored pursuits of shooting, hunting, and fishing.
