Toning to front cover, with very minimal dampstain along tail of rear cover. Small nick and 12 mm closed tear to tail of front cover, with mild creasing along spine. Signed and inscribed by Willaim Dickey (as 'Bill') alongside table of contents. Interior otherwise clean and unmarked. Binding sound, with some rusting to staples. Founded by the poet, writer, and AIDS activist Thomas Avena in 1988, the literary journal 89c was published in two issues before being renamed as 'Bastard Review'.
