Black-and-white illustrations of various models and makes of disc grinders are accompanied by a short description, as well as a listing of technical specifications. Horsepower required for operation, size of the steel disc, domestic and export shipping weight, and physical dimensions are all given, among others. Page 24 has a technical illustration of a countershaft giving its physical dimensions. Original covers are protected by plain brown paper wrappers. Covers themselves show shelfwear and have darkened around edges, especially on back cover. Top left corner of back cover and top right corner of front cover are noticeably creased, and edges of back cover are worn. Front cover has the word Diamond written in pencil, and the number 621.92 written in both pen and pencil; cover also bears a stamped date (November 20, 1916), indicating that the catalogue came from a catalogue library. Pages are toned around edges, but are clean and free of markings. The Diamond Machine Company, a manufacturer of industrial equipment, was based in Providence, Rhode Island. $20.
