These women after distributing almost the entire food prepared by themselves among the children and other members of the family had to be satisfied only with the little left over. But such women had smilingly borne with it for days together. They did not make any protest for it because they were fully aware of their financial condition. Children and other members of the family in most cases failed to get iota of trace of it though this was grim reality. 210 pp.
