Draft script for Season One, Episode 14 of the 1954-1956 television show, which originally aired on September 23, 1954. Copy belonging to episode director Derwin Abrahams, with his name (as Derwin Abbe) on the front wrapper in manuscript pencil, and manuscript pencil annotations on nearly every page. Based on the character created by Michael Arlen, which first appeared in 1940 short story published in "Town & Country" magazine. The character would go on to appear in 15 films throughout the 1940s, as well as a radio serial, before finally being adapted as this early syndicated television show which ran for 39 episodes between 1954 and 1956. Beige titled wrappers, noted as production No. 216, dated May 18, 1954. 54 leaves, with last page of text numbered 47. Mimeograph duplication. Draft script for the 1946 film. Working copy belonging to actor Marshall Reed, with his name in manuscript pencil on the front wrapper. The final film in the Nevada McKenzie series, in which US Marshal Jack "Nevada" McKenzie is asked to help investigate the death of a man who supposedly drowned in a haunted mine near a ghost town called Buckeye. Their investigation leads them deep into the secrets of the local community including corruption, mental illness, and murder on a grander scale than they first imagined. Gray titled wrappers, with credits for screenwriter Frank Young. Title page present, with credits for screenwriter Young. 87 leaves, with last page of text numbered 87. Mimeograph duplication.
