Vol. I with bookseller's notes to ffep, M4 with loss to fore-edge margin not affecting text, a few leaves short at fore-edge. Vol. II with quite a few pages unopened at head edge. Contemporary dark green quarter cloth, drab paper-covered boards, spines gilt ruled with red labels. Worn, some splashes and marks to spines, loss to edge of vol. II label, end caps and corners frayed, edges worn, externally a little shabby but unsophisticated and sound. Each volume with bookplate of William Bartlett to front pastedown and illegible ownership inscription to head of title-page. Very scarce in the UK and Ireland.
