A four-leaved folded leaflet promoting the Mark IV Dellow Sports Car, together with a letter from The Gordon Garage in Dulwich, London, quoting options for the supply of the car and purchase taxes. The brochure is a landscape 16mo; the letter is folded A4. The brochure is shelf worn and a little faded, with a small corner crease; the letter is a little toned, folded once, with a small corner crease. Both are a bit bumped at edges. A beautiful illustration of the Mark IV Dellow Sports Car on the front cover the brochure - where there is also a faint stamp from the dealer. Dellow cars were produced Delsons at Alvechurch between 1949 and 1956, using parts from other cars and Government surplus rocket tubes left over from the second world war. The Mark IV is though to date from 1954. It is thought that around 300 cars were produced, many of which were exported, but one firm of agriculture engineers bought several for their sales reps to use. The sales leaflet is now thought to be rare.
