19 specimens of Chaetopleura sowerbyana (Reeve, 1847) were collected at Larrande Beach, Peninsula Valdes, Argentina. They agree in all respects with the characteristics of the holotype, except for some minor differences (like a greater number of the radiating rows of pustules on the end valves), that we assume as falling within the range of intraspecific variation of the species. As C. sowerbyana is only known from the holotype, the rediscovery of the species is of the utmost importance. 4 pp., 2 figs, gr. 8.
