This renowned pitcher (1930-41) won 30 games in 1934 with St. Louis (a feat accomplished since only by Denny McLain in 1968); he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1953. Accompanied by two small, pristine modern reproductions (Dover Reprints) of vintage Dean color baseball cards, both on glossy heavy stock: a 2½" X 3" reprint of a 1934 "Big League Chewing Gum" card and a 2" X 2¼" reprint of a cryptic early card.
