(4), 107, (5), deliziosa legatura romantica in pergamena, piatti ornati da duplice cornice a filetti e motivo vegetale centrale con inserti mosaicati in marocchino granata e pelle nocciola, titolo in oro su doppio tassello e ricchi fregi in oro e blu al dorso, entro astuccio in percallina verde.…Pregevole edizione (apparsa anche con erronea indicazione di anno 1589 e 1590, ma in realtà 1595) di celebre Canzoniere di ispirazione pretrarchesca, dato alle stampe a partire dal 1472 presso Malpighi a Bologna. Il testo si compone di 135 sonetti, 5 canzoni, 3 sestine, 3 ballate e 4 capitoli, a cui il Corbinelli, che curò la presente edizione, aggiunse in fine una raccolta di rime di "diversi autori toscani". Mamert Patisson, qui italianizzato, fu correttore di bozze per Robert II Estienne , quindi ne sposò la vedova e rilevò la tipografia Estienne. Nel 1578 fu nominato Stampatore Reale e rimase tale fino alla morte; nel 1606 la tipografia fu rilevata da Robert III Estienne, figliastro di Mamert. Buon esemplare (lievi usuali arrossature della carta). Gamba 369: "assai raro". STC French 122. Book.

Verona, Giannalberto Tumermani, A handsome book. La Bella Mano of Conti (Rome 1390- Rimini 1449) was first published in 1472 in Bologna (IS…TC no ic00786000) and reprinted in Venice in 1474 and 1492. The earlier Veronese edition is dated 1750. This critical edition gives us the corrections and notes of Jacopo Corbinelli transcribed from his copy of the 1595 Paris edition of the work. The 24 sonnets of G.A. Romanello (see DBI) are here reprinted from the very rare Verona edition of about 1479 (ISTC ir00315500). Title-leaf slightly soiled.
