"Installata sul prato prospiciente la villa medicea "La Magia", - dice Giuliano Gori nel suo saggio - in posizione frontale rispetto alla prestigiosa vista offerta dalla dorsale del Montalbano, una presenza che ridefinisce lo spazio circostante, consentendone una nuova chiave di lettura. Un ambiente esagonale, le cui pareti formate di marmo di Carrara misurano metri 3x3x0,45 - esternamente lisce a mo' di paravento - alternate da un vuoto d'accesso di metri 6. Una panca, anch'essa esagonale, posta al centro dello spazio interno, dotata di una fonte emissiva d'acqua che crea un leggero e riposante gorgoglio e invita alla sosta e al dialogo; le pareti marmoree sono rigorosamente incise con strisce verticali di cm 8,7 - i colori giallo, blu e rosso si alternano sulle superfici dove vi scorre l'acqua, mentre le altre restano al naturale. L'opera dotata di un qualificato impianto d'illuminazione che la rende magica nel contesto". The volume documents the creation of the fountain that Daniel Buren created in the park of Villa La Magia in Pistoia which joins the others that in recent years have enriched the vast green space in which the villa is immersed. "Installed on the lawn overlooking the Medici villa "La Magia", - says Giuliano Gori in his essay - in a frontal position with respect to the prestigious view offered by the Montalbano ridge, it is a presence that redefines the surrounding space, allowing for a new interpretation. A hexagonal environment, whose walls made of Carrara marble measure 3x3x0.45 meters - externally smooth like a screen - alternated with an access void of 6 meters.
