Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. First edition. Illustrated by Thomas Nason 74pp. Very good or better with light soiling of boards and former owners name on front fly in a edgeworn dustwrapper with a few stains on front panel and short tears on spine ends. Inscribed and dated in the year of publication to printmaker and engraver Thomas Nason, who illustrated the frontispiece and front cover of the book, on half title page. Inscription reads: "To Tom Nason - the star to whom I hitched my wagon! for gratitude and admiration from David McCord." Thomas Nason's work was predominately inspired by rural New England. Although he worked with many major poets, his work is inextricably intertwined with that of Robert Frost. Nason's Illustration's closely mirrored Frost's poetry which was also heavily inspired by rural New England.
