Rare magazine that is missing from all the bibliographies despite its great importance on American anthropology, directed by the famous Daniel Vidart, born in Paysandú on October 7, 1920, he was an anthropologist, teacher and writer. He studied at the Faculty of Law of the University of the Republic and at the National University of Colombia, where he later taught. From 1962, he was director of the Center for American Anthropological Studies Dr. Paul Rivet , place from where he edited the magazine Amerindia , on prehistory and ethnology. During 1985 and 1988, he held the direction of the Department of Anthropology in the Faculty of Humanities and Sciences. Also, he served as a UNESCO expert in Environmental Education, within the framework of United Nations consultancies. He also collaborated with various print media. He was grade 5 of the Faculty of Humanities of Udelar, and taught cultural anthropology at the University of Chile. As of 2009, he was part of the National Academy of Letters of Uruguay. Throughout his life, he received numerous awards such as Morosoli (1996), Bartolomé Hidalgo (1996), among others. He died at the age of 98, on May 14, 2019. Missing to all bibliographies. C2.

Collaborators : Danilo Trelles, Washington Roldan, Antonio Gompone, Tobias Rosemberg, Hugo Rocha, Among others. Early Roberto Lagarmilla lived a double vocation that included science and music, which determined throughout his life the exercise of both. In the scientific field he is responsible for the creation of the Spectrography Department of the State Power Plants and Transmissions Laboratory, as well as the beginning of a permanent record of solar radiation, in the Meteorological Service of Uruguay, in which he performed several decades as a meteorologist. These activities, added to his work as a journalist where he covered both music and meteorology and astronomy, made his musical production, not very vast and of little diffusion, consist mostly of unpublished manuscripts, some known for their performance in recitals or for recordings transmitted by SODRE stations.
