Prigov played a very special role in our museum's history-from the day of its founding, he took an active part in many of our undertakings. In 2001, when the new museum was still obscure to the public. Prigov loaned us several of his works for a long-term exhibit (afterwards we purchased two of them for our permanent collec tion). Then examples of Prigov's oeuvre were shown in the same hall as works by Boris Orlov, another outstandin.
