A good representation of an Isaiah imprint. Thomas Cullen (1710-1790) was a greatly respected Scottish physician and chemist. This is a clean copy with a used patina to the covers, bumped corners and shelf wear on the edges. The rear end paper is torn and missing a section. The bottom of the first page of the Preface and page 17 have a small section of the page missing but this does not include any text. The front flyleaf is inscribed "E White Jones, Glasgow University, 1875" At the bottom of pages 385 and 399 there are hand written notes. There is no foxing but the pages do show signs of use.
