Bound in contemporary half brown calf leather. Spine with five raised bands, each with vertical gilt lines. Compartments double ruled, decorated and lettered in gilt. Burgundy title label, gilt. Brown cloth on boards. Marbled endpapers. All edges marbled. Armorial bookplate to the front pastedown endpaper. Some rubbing to edges and corners a bit bumped but still an attractive binding. Overall a very good copy.
