The second volume of the two-volume "Elements of Physics" by Giovanni Francesco Crivelli (1690-1743), an Italian phycist and mathematician. A very important book in the history of modern Italian physics. Among other topics, this second volume discusses astronomical theories. The second, revised and expanded edition with two theses by the same author: "Sulle leggi del moto, e dell'estimazione delle forze vive" (alternative title: "Dissertazione sopra le leggi del moto") and "I Problemi aritmetici di Diofanto Alessandrino Analiticamente Dimostrati". The volume contains a complete set of 14 fold-out plates with engraved illustrations and diagrams.
