Typed pages with black and white photographs and charts to illustrate the text. Ownership stamp on front endpaper 'Academic Registrar, University of London.' /Professor Arthur H. Crisp (1930-2006) was appointed Professor of Psychiatry at St George's Hospital Medical School in 1967. It was from there and the Atkinson Morley Hospital that he built up a Department of Psychiatry and an extensive clinical service for patients with eating disorders.Ê He obtained his medical degree only 11 years before being appointed to the St George's Chair.
