Mild rubbing to spine labels, very slight darkening to endpapers but generally an extremely good set. An excellent printing of Nicholas Breton's prose work first published in 1603.

No. 130 of 500 copies. 12 wood engravings by Blair Hughes-Stanton. Folio, quarter vellum, marbled paper covered boards, top edge gilt, others uncut. Endpapers rather spotted and browned, with occasional browning throughout, edges rather darkened, boards rubbed at edges and marked. Published in the year of D.H. Lawrence's death this is a fitting tribute with some superb large wood engravings by Hughes-Stanton.
