Rubbing to extremities, heavier to spine. Marbled page edges and endpapers. Front board of volume two detached but present. Stain to Vol.I title page.

Gilt lettering, gilt decoration and raised banding to spines, and extensively decorated gilt paneled boards and wide inner dentelles. Marbled endpapers, top page edges gilt. In very good conditions. Lovely bright clean bindings. Hinges weakening, partial cracks to ends of front hinges. Some light rubbing to boards. Endpapers darkened, half title in vol.1 darkened and main title in vol.2. A couple of minor handling marks else pages all very clean and tight throughout.
