Yonge, best known for writing 'The Heir of Redclyffe'. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Some light marks to the boards and spines, with some discolouration to the rear board of Volume I. Spines are a little faded. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities. Hinges are starting a little but remain firm. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are very lightly age-toned and generally clean with some spots, and a few pencil scribbles to the text. Chip to the margin of page 75/76 due to how the page has been opened. Good. book.
