Jesper Just(b.1974 in Copenhagen) has won international acclaim for his visually beguiling videos, which favor a process more aligned with the cinematic in order to create choreographed and sculptural productions. The question of representation, understood as the manner in which we create images and how those images in turn conjure ideas, expectations, and conventions, is central to JustÆs oeuvre, as are themes of gender, uncertainty, and the erotic.
