"ON EN" written neatly at foot of spine, referring to former owner Lincoln Brower's bibliographical organization program, Endnote. DJ worn from age, but remains intact and fully legible. No date on title page. Copyright page dated 1956, stated revised second edition. 537 pages. "LP Brower" [Lincoln P. Brower] and "ON EN" [again, a reference to Endnote] written neatly on front free endpaper; Brower was a notable conservationist and monarch butterfly expert. No further annotations throughout text. Pages are clean and bright, concluding section of plates remain glossy. Binding is tight and secure. We ve got a wonderful bookcase or two of books from Lincoln Brower s collection listed here.
