Unbound. Zustand: Very Good. Engraved map. Engraved image measures approximately 22½" x 17½" on slightly larger paper. Folded as issued with the edge of one panel slightly misfolded, most of the right edge trimmed to the border (with a tiny bit of loss to the border and loss of the last letter of "York" in the bottom right corner), consistent light foxing and/or toning and a couple of tiny dark spots, a nice very good copy; the thin paper is still supple. Signed "C. Copley" in the plate. According to a bookseller's note that came to us with this copy of the map, it was removed from Volume 2 of J. R. M'Culloch's *Universal Gazetteer* of 1846. Not hand-colored, as two examples we've seen on Rare Book Hub have been. A nicely preserved and interesting historical map.
