Henry Savile (1642 1687) was an English courtier, diplomat and Member of Parliament. In 1680 he was appointed Vice-Chamberlain of the Household. He was subsequently an envoy at Paris, where he died in 1687. He was a close friend of John Wilmot, 2nd Earl of Rochester.…
