Zustand: Fair. 1951. First Edition. 220 pages. Illustrated dust jacket over green cloth boards with lettering. Contains black and white illustrations by Jocelyn Campbell. Includes a drawing of author's sister by Eugene Burnand to front. Drawing of the author has been removed with large area of loss to pastedown. Page 211 is detached but still present with tears to edges. Cracking to gutters on occasion, pages throughout remain attached. Pages are noticeable tanned with visible foxing throughout. Occasional thumb-marking. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Minor sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Small splits to spine ends. Visible wear marks to boards. Unclipped jacket. Panels and spine have heavy edgewear with chips, tears and creases. Moderate tears and loss to spine and edges. Moderate tanning and wear marks to flaps, panels and spine.
