Original brown pebbled cloth binding with gilt lettering to the spine, somewhat marked, otherwise with a with a little general wear and rubbing. Contents good and tight, previous owner's neat signature, dated Liskeard 1848 to the front free end paper, a little reading wear, but given the poor quality paper used, really in very good condition, bound from the original parts as the original stab marks are evident in the gutter. A very good copy. Scarce. A fascinating verbatim account (Report by Jno. Selkirk.) of discussions held between conventional Christian believers and thinkers and the "heretic" Mr. J. Barker.
