The author has given the reader the broad arc of redemption history concerning resurrection in a manner which is logical and conforms to the biblical texts. The OT and NT are brought together to form a single theme. He writes about a difficult topic in a manner that can be read by any person with a basic knowledge of the Bible. Internally, the binding holds firm, though the preliminary leaves, including the frontispiece and title page, exhibit significant damp staining and prominent tide marks primarily localised to the lower gutter and margins. Intermittent foxing and scattered spotting are present throughout the text block, commensurate with the paper stock and provincial production of this era, yet the structural integrity remains uncompromised and the text is fully legible.
