A very nice copy. ; Unpaginated - according to the publisher's catalog it is 152 pages in length with 48 colour and 51 duotone plates. This copy is signed on the publisher's colophon- the image of this page provided in their catalog shows an unsigned copy. The photos were taken in Deep Springs Valley, California, a valley north of Death Valley with a desert climate. Contis worked with students from Deep Springs College, an all male liberal arts school.
