Volume VIIfocuses on the daily or seasonal activities ofthe Anyuak and investigates their economicand material values, in particular the socialaspects of labour, such as solidarity, sharingwithin the community and cooperation. Thebook ends with a chapter on art which illustratesthe Anyuak artistic self-awareness inall aspects of life.Volume VIII on the Anyuak History is thelast part of the monograph. The narrative inthis volume moves from mythological timesto the times of migration. It explains reasonsfor the separation from relatives and exploresthe process of settlement.
