Pepperell 8 Merrywood Road, Southville, Bristol' to head of title page, light browning and foxing, marbled e.ps., hinges taped, contemporary half calf with marbled boards, some scuffin…g and loss to corners, rebacked with much of original rubbed spine laid down, gilt tooled raised bands and gilt lettered label to spine. pp.318 'we learn he was a West Indian Merchant .
