In 1864, Larking served in a number of royal offices, including Equarry to the Duke of Connaught, Extra Equarry, and Gentleman Usher of the Privy Chamber to both Queen Victoria and King Edward. These were drawn by various artists, the most famous of whom was Leslie Ward who used the 'nom de crayon' of "Spy". This portrait will come mounted/matted and ready to frame using archivist quality materials, mount size 18 x 12 inches, 47 x 31 cms. It will be presented in a cellophane wrapper with our label guaranteeing authenticity. We pack very well, between sheets of hardboard. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a portrait of Colonel Cuthbert Larking, with the caption "Cuthbert". Colonel Cuthbert Larking was the son of John Wingfield Larking. He married Adela Maria Hare, daughter of William Hare, 2nd Earl of Listowel and Maria Augusta Windham, on 2 June 1864. He died on 31 October 1910.
