Hardcover. Zustand: Very good. 194 pp. Octavo. 1/4 red cloth over blue cloth with gilt illustrations on front cover. Inscription from 1890 on front free enpaper. Deckled edges. Pages are slightly separated from spine. Corners slightly bumped. Some discoloration to spine. Considered an important cultural artifact, Collis documents her experience travelling from New York to Alaska. She catalogs the technological advancements of the time as well as the infrastructural development she sees on her trip.

Cloth over boards. Zustand: Good. Second edition. Hardcover quarter cloth (red) and cloth (blue) over boards. 8vo. [10] + 194 pp. Illustrated with 86 b/w and hand coloured plate engravings with additional b/w illustrations, a b/w photograph portrait, a full colour map, and a fold-out hand coloured frontispiece of a glacier. Title stamped on the front board in brown, and on the spine in gilt. Gilt stamped image of a totem pole on the front board. Deckled fore edge and foot, gilt head. Text block shows some slight browning to the head, and the occasional use mark to the leaves. Inside hinges are cracked, and there is a loose thread in the gutter at the end of the table of contents. Boards bumped and shelfworn with frayed corners. Spine is faded, frayed at the top and bottom, and has an abrasion mark just below the author's name. Overall a charming and functional copy.

Small octavo, 78pp. Original red cloth with floral pattern. Title in gilt on front cover and spine. Floral endpapers. Marked surplus from the Library of Congress, with usual stamps throughout. LOC bookplate affixed to front endpaper, sticker on top corner of front cover. Solid text block, spine reinforced along top edge, bumped corners, faintly soiled. A very good example. Complete with eight full-page illustrations, including a frontispiece protected with tissue guard.
