Octavo (23.75cm); red cloth, blocked and titled in burgundy and gilt on spine; dustjacket; xc,515,[1]pp. Upper corners bumped (though still sharp), mild crimping to upper edge of textblock at some of the center gatherings; contents clean; Very Good+. Dustjacket is unclipped (priced $22.00), gently spine-sunned and lightly edgeworn, with a few tiny tears, and corresponding wrinkling to upper corners; Very Good+. "The present volume centres around the third of Fielding's four periodical journals, The Jacobite's Journal (1747-8), and includes also the texts of two rare political pamphlets which had their source in the Pelham coalition" (from front flap).

I - III], and AMELIA), and moderate wear to top edges (with moderate chipping to top edges of JOSEPH ANDREWS). Prices unclipped (where applicable). Boards have moderate wear to bottom edges of those volumes published prior to 2000, and light plus bumping to some corners (moderate plus to JOSEPH ANDREWS). Text blocks have light shelf wear to bottom edges, light age toning to several volumes, and the ex libris of a previous owner on the front paste down of several volumes, and instances of pencil annotations throughout volumes.
