Ciliga war Mitglied des ZK der kommunistischen Partei Jugoslawiens und wurde als solches des Landes verwiesen. In der UdSSR verbrachte er die Jahre 1926-1936, davon mehr als die Hälfte in Haft und Lagern. Ciliga, ehemals Komintern-Mitglied, verurteilt im Rückblick die Politik sowohl von Stalin wie auch von Lenin und Trotzki. Gramm 600.
