Zustand: Good. 1925. 142 pages. Beige pictorial boards with a brown cloth spine. Inscription to front pastedown. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn with slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are a mildly crushed, with small splits and chips. Light tanning to spine and edges.

Hardback, 7.5 x 5 inches. Half bound with light brown cloth to spine and grey paper boards, with paper title label toi spine and lettering to front. In very good condition. Bottom corners slightly bumped, some overall fading and darkening to cover. Some darkening to endpapers with neat inscription to front ?E.Wilson.? Some mild foxing to pages throughout. Small label to rear endpaper ?The Times Book Club.? Binding tight and sound. Else a very good clean and tight copy. A rare 1st edition. 142pp.
