Slight signs of wrapper edgewear, with small chips to head and tail of spine of Ross, and to top edge of Ball. Fading to extremities of Ball wrapper. End papers are bright and clean to Munby and Talbot, with the odd spot to Hewett, Ross, Ball, and Meynell, lighter to Ball and a little heavier to Ross. Slight browning to fore-edges of Spence, Ross and Ball. Previous owner's bookplate to Munby. Internally, firmly bound. In contemporary quarter calf with marbled paper covered boards. Bound with the original endpapers. Complete with engraved frontispieces and engraved title pages. ESTC No.P1979 First monthly number has individual title page, with title repeated as caption at head of first page of text; later numbers have caption titles only.
