Blue cloth with gilt letters on the front cover and the spine. Almost no wear to extremities, just a hint of fading at lower right corner of front cover, some transfer from inside covers to endpapers, else near fine with clean cloth, bright gilt and no internal markings. Dust jacket slightly soiled and with a large chip missing from the rear panel. Christopher Charles Watts was Archdeacon of Swaziland and Principal of St. Mark's School for Coloured Children, Empolonjeni. "This little book is an attempt to describe the development of life and work on the religious side as the write has understood it during the last fifteen years in Swaziland," [Preface] Watts also wrote IN MID-ATLANTIC, THE ISLANDS OF ST. HELENA, ASCENSION AND TRISTAN DE CUNHA (1936).
